The University of Maryland Police Department Student Advisory Council consists of student group representatives that attend monthly meetings and advocate for the interests of students from particularly marginalized and overpoliced communities. This is an opportunity to work directly with UMPD officers and other student leaders to create effective agendas, improve policies, and highlight current issues.
